The Nobel Prizes 2021 for five out of the six categories have been awarded this week. Maria Ressa the Philippine journalist is the only woman receiving this year's prize out of 10 winners.
According the all times record of Nobel Prize winners, the number of female winners stayed only at 59 with 6.2% comparing to 886 male winners with 93.8%. The most female winners received the prize at the peace category with and the least in economics category.
